In the life of every soldier there comes a time when he faces the uncertainties regarding his own life. “I’m not sure if I will return…”, reflects on a soldier’s thoughts of returning back to his family. The construction material used in the fabrication of the army shelter (that is seen in the photograph) is in stark contrast to the hand which appears from a small window. Doubts about survival at times, can intimidate a soldier’s resolve to continue the fight and at the same time, the thought of family, gives him hope and strength to survive and move past his fears.
