Remind the Forgotten, consists of newspaper articles which have been randomly placed under a carpet. On 26thNovember 2008, the world was shocked to learn of the terrorist attacks that transformed the city of Mumbai. Media technology allowed for the tragedy to be documented and transmitted around the world as it unfolded.

The installation reflects on the power of media, that shapes and influences our views and opinions. The exposed clips of newspapers from one corner of the carpet reminds us of our frailties; and how we must not forget our tragic past, as we try to confront with the present and move towards the future.
